Mommy in GA: We received the cards and ALSO the Book!!  My 9 year old LOVES to draw and doodle and anything else that has to do with paper and any kind of writing utensil!

I gave the Zentangle a try and it did ease the tension of life while I was drawing, I need alot more practice with it before I show yall my talent (or lck there of!!!)

My 9 year old has taken possession of the Yoga for the Brain cards and also the Zentangle book!!  She has really enjoyed the new aspects of drawing and told me that she feels much calmer when she draws with them!

The one above is her favorite so far!

Mommy in PA:  My daughter scarfed the cards up right after I opened the package.  I actually had to get them back off of her to take the picture...lol.  She took them to her room and we didn't hear from her for about three hours.  That is very rare in this house because she usually needs food or drinks on a pretty regular basis once she gets home from school.

She said she had a lot of fun but wasn't happy with how some of hers turned out.  She said she was having a hard time getting her shading to look right, I told her that it probably takes a little practice just like anything else.  Above is a sampling of the pictures she did : )

This is a great review, thank you. And please tell the kids that they did an amazing job with their practice tangles. A lot of adults are afraid to even TRY shading. Very brave. And, yes, it does take practice. I have been practicing since I was two. I don't like to draw on lined notepaper. I prefer to draw on walls and floors... although... you might NOT want to tell them THAT! ;-) PS - Let me know if they'd like to be featured on www.ZTforKids.com
Cheers,
