Charcoal Companion Himalayan Salt Plates
Are you looking for a unique holiday gift for the foodie in your family? Are you wanting to add a little bit of elegance to a special holiday dinner? Well you don't have to look any more thanks to Charcoal Companion Himalayan Salt Plates.
These Himalayan salt plates can be used for serving meals on or cooking meals on your stove top or grill. They can also be placed in your freezer for serving cold desserts or sushi.
Mommy in PA: I loved the fact that these came in a four pack that can be either used as one cooking/serving surface or divided up and used individually. We chose to use them individually as serving plates for a meal consisting of venison steak and parsley potatoes (My son decided to have homemade french fries on his). With there being four of us this worked out just right.
The first thing I noticed with these was how heavy they are. So if you do decide to get these just be prepared that the package will weigh a lot more than you expect : ) After opening the package I was utterly amazed at how beautiful these are and how unique each one looked (everyone got to pick out which one they wanted to use and it was easy to keep track).
I was so excited to plate these up! Just look at how gorgeous they turned out. I am no professional but this sure did make my meal look more like it came out of a fancy restaurant : )
One of the wonderful benefits of the salt plates is the fact that there is no need to salt the food you are serving as the salt is the plate itself. We were all a little skeptical as my hubby and son love their salt and we were thinking that it wouldn't be enough salt flavor. Well needless to say, nobody was reaching for the salt shakers during dinner : ) My daughter even tested a little further by taking a bite of her food that hadn't touched the salt plate and then one that had and said that it made a huge difference.
It is super easy to clean these too thanks to the fact that salt is a natural germ buster. Just scrub them down with warm water to get off all of the food residue and oils and then just dry them very well. Do Not Soak!
Great product that we will be using time and time again : )
